CHRIS BADDOCK
Chair
Chris Baddock is an accomplished CEO and Non-Executive Director with over three decades of experience leading high-performance organisations across the FMCG and drinks industries. He is recognised for his ability to shape culture, align leadership behaviours, and deliver sustained commercial outcomes in complex operating environments.
Drawing on extensive senior leadership experience, Chris brings a highly informed perspective on how culture and behaviour drive business performance. As an accredited LSI coach, he works closely with leaders to embed the behaviours required to achieve long-term organisational success and resilience.
Chris has built a distinguished career developing strategic partnerships with key customers across the liquor and grocery sectors. He is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, an accredited Human Synergistics coach, and a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management.
Most recently, Chris served as CEO of Australian Liquor Marketers (a division of Metcash Ltd) from July 2019 to February 2024. Over a career spanning more than 30 years in FMCG, including over 20 years in the drinks industry, he has held senior leadership roles across both supply and retail, including with Lion and Woolworths.
In 2015, he was appointed Director of Pinnacle Drinks, a wholly owned subsidiary of Endeavour Drinks responsible for the exclusive supply of beer, wine and spirits to BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Progressive NZ and Summergate China. During his tenure, Chris also led Cellarmasters, Woolworths Liquor Export and the digital business, while serving as a Non-Executive Director of Gage Roads and Chair of Southtrade International.
Prior to joining Woolworths, Chris spent 11 years with Lion Australia in senior executive roles, including Managing Director of Fine Wine Partners and National Customer & Sales Director.
